We love to get outside on a clear, cold, crisp winters day and see what nature we can spot. You don’t need to be in the countryside, a daily walk around your local area will work just as well, even front and back gardens might be hiding some natural treasures.
We’ve made a handy list to print out or just have on your mobile, of possible things that you might find, from emerging shoots, catkins and nest boxes, why not could check them off with the kids. Take time to listen too, you may hear birdsong or woodpeckers hammering on a tree trunk for insects.
