Time to rewild our schools and fill 2023 with wildflowers!
We hate waste, and post Christmas, we have lots of wildflower odd balls! Not round enough to make the grade, but still perfectly growable.
These oddballs of wildflower seed, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder are a great way to grow wildflowers!
Simply throw in borders, school yards and corners, as long as it they land on bare soil, not grass. Then wait for the magic to happen!
The clay and chill powder protect the seeds from predators, and the peat-free compost give them a head start.
We only use British native wildflowers! Oddballs will be a rainbow selection of wildflower mixes from across our range.
NB: We always make sure there are no foxglove in our school mixes, so you can be confident the flowers and seeds are safe for children.
A great activity to get kids outside and growing for wildlife. Why not build an insect hotel, pop in a log pile or make a hedgehog home too?! Check out our blog pages for lots of ideas!
They can work well in recycled containers such as empty yogurt pots filled with soil (all you need is one ball per pot).
Kids can have fun throwing the balls onto bare soil and taking it in turns to water! (Keep watered regularly if there is no rain.)
Simply fill in the form below and we will send you a 300g bag (roughly about 2o0 oddballs).
Please note there is a £6 P&P charge. UK only.
