Description
Sweet-scented sprays of pale pink or mid pink, four-petalled flowers, with white centres to guide pollinators. This garden plant has greyish-green small leaves and a slightly sprawling habit, perfect for planting near a seating area, or under a window in full sun. Night-scented Stock will perfume the air throughout balmy summer evenings, making it attractive to moths and therefore good for bats. Flowers mid to late summer. Easy to grow in a sunny, sheltered spot.
Habitat
It is commonly grown in gardens for its scented flowers and was first recorded in the wild in 1904.
